About Me and Why I Love Being a Virtual Assistant

My Virtual Assistant - It's All About Me

So, who am I?

In short, I’m a Business Systems Analyst, Computer Systems Engineer, Web Designer & Developer and a Graphic Designer.

What do I do as a virtual assistant?

I assist individuals, small and medium sized businesses, entrepreneurs, professionals, and local governments to carry out tasks they do not currently have employed staff available, or with sufficient expertise, to complete.

I come from a background in Information Technology, Business Analysis, Project Management & Change Management, and Graphic Design, I love them all!

These technologies although different blend together to form a cohesive skillset that make me the perfect virtual assistant in my niche areas.

What are my niche areas?

The jobs I love to do, the jobs that I don’t call work, the jobs that make me smile and feel happy, my niches are in five main areas these are:

  • Graphic design, I relish the creativity graphic design affords me.
  • Website development and design, I am a WordPress and Shopify expert and value both tools and how they can help businesses stand out.
  • Social Media Marketing, now where would we be without social media? Utilising social media to its full potential is an art, it takes research and trial and error, but that is the fun of it, and the thrill of seeing the results of a great targeted campaign just can’t be beaten.
  • Pinterest assistant, Pinterest is not like other social media sites such as Facebook and Instagram. Pinterest is a place to research, learn, save, organise, plan and shop. Hours can be clocked up fast if not proficient with Pintrest when organising an effective account. I am proficient and can have you up and running effectively in no time.
  • Content creation, I love to write, not just to be published but because it fills an inner need to write, to document and to organise my thoughts.

I also delight in research and this plays a key role in all of my niche areas. To succeed in shining and standing out from the crowd you really need to know what the rest of the crowd is up to, so market research is key.

As my resume shows I have skills in many other areas but these five areas are my passion.

What I delight in most about being a virtual assistant is that I have the capacity and the opportunity to immediately impact your business, by bringing organisation where there was once chaos and making your business outstanding from our competition.

I understand the importance of research and learning, I think personal growth is very imperative, if you’re not moving forward then you’re getting trampled by those that are.

Mentoring is also one of my passions and I draw satisfaction and feel privileged passing on my knowledge to others and helping people help themselves.

Travel, is my other obsession, I love the thrill of planning my future trips, I want to travel the world! As long as I have internet the world is my oyster.

My hobbies are sketching (I sketch using my iPad Pro and Apple Pencil) and photography compositing, I am nowhere near as good as I would like to be at either of these because, like most busy professionals hobbies never get enough attention.

Oh yeah, I am also a terrible gadget junkie: iPads, iPhones, Androids, MacBook’s. I love them all, along with the many software tools and apps that can make our lives easier. I need efficiency and I appreciate any piece of technology that makes me more efficient.

That’s about it! Thanks for dropping in… if you want to see my full resume just click on my LinkedIn profile link at the top right of the page.
